Vegan Arrowroot Teething Biscuits

I've had trouble finding vegan arrowroot biscuits for my son, so I've been making this recipe.  I only have dog biscuit cookie cutters from making dog treats.  People look at us like, "Why is your kid eating dog food?" and it's so funny.  These biscuits are so addicting.  I've eaten more than my baby has.

3/4 cup spelt flour
1/4 cup arrowroot powder
1/8 tsp salt
3 Tbsp canola oil
1/4 cup brown rice syrup
1 Tbsp vanilla

1.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Lightly oil a baking sheet.
2.  Mix the dry ingredients in one bowl and the wet in another bowl.  Add wet to dry.  Add more spelt flour in order to make the dough easy to handle.
3.  Lay down a piece of wax paper floured with spelt.  Put dough on top and another sheet of wax paper over that.  Roll out to 1/8 inch.
4.  Use cookie cutters to make shapes and bake until golden brown, 8-12 minutes.  Makes 1 1/2 dozen.
